Good question. I’ve thought about that, and while I think SB vs UTG he’s going to be in bad shape when 200BBs go in, I also have trouble pointing out what he can do differently. He can flat call pre-flop, and probably should some of the time, but if he never 3-bets QQ, his 3-betting range here is going to be either very narrow or very weak. To be honest, my range for 4-bet-calling is probably AA and KK. I think I’d flat AK or JJ. But folding or calling out of position also seem like pretty undesirable options for his QQ. It’s really just an awkward spot for him to be in, one which demonstrates the increased importance of position when stacks are deep.

Thanks, but I double-checked, and with a $3 rake, the pot is right. Notice that SB didn’t start the hand with quite a full stack.
