Your equation works as well. The pot before my call is $1843, divided by $827 is 2.23. 1/3.23 = 31%.

so Hero needs to risk $827 to win $2,178. the way i compute equity is 2,178/827 which equals 2.63. now i add one to this 2.63 figure and divide by one for this equation: 1/3.63 which comes to 27.5. so we need at least 27.5% equity to correctly call.

Notice that Villain had me covered, so the amount I called was less than the amount of his shove. I called 827 and won 2667.
