Thinking Poker Home Game Final Results

In light of recent events, I’ve decided to end the Thinking Poker Home Game tournament series early. Americans are still allowed to play for play money, and I thought about finishing out the series that way, but I think there are too many people who just aren’t going to be playing online at all right now for that to be fair. I’m therefore awarding the Grand Prize to Birchum, who was leading the league with 12.92 points as of the most recent tournament in which everyone was eligible to play.

Birchum, please drop me a line at andrew (at) thinkingpoker.net so that we can arrange your hand history review. For the record, I will be verifying Birchum’s identity, so let’s not have any “Fake Birchums” trying to claim the prize.

Congratulations are also in order for KeondaFreon and Bond2King, who finished in 2nd and 3rd place respectively with 10.52 and 9.69 points. They narrowly edged me out of the top 3, leaving me in 4th place with 9.31 points.

There is a PLAY MONEY Badugi tournament scheduled for this Sunday, April 24th, at 16:30 ET. This is Easter Day, and I don’t know yet whether I’ll be around, but I’m going to try to play. I’ll probably schedule one more play money tournament and then make a decision about how to proceed with the league based on participation in those events.

Thanks to everyone who’s played in the Home Game tournaments! I always have a lot of fun playing and chatting with you all, and I hope you enjoy it as well.
