  1. Good stuff, thanks for the podcast. One quick question, what’s the name of the band who provide your intro music? I’m sure I could find it if I really hunted, but I’ve come up empty so far.

In the hand you discussed, what happens if the UTG player flats the short stack shove? Is that scarier, or do you still just get it in?

    • The band is called Monogold. We used to plug our music providers on every episode, but we stopped doing that once we switched to using Monogold exclusively.

I’d still shove if UTG flats, in fact I might feel a little better about it since we may get him to fold hands like 88 that have very good equity.

  2. Great interview.

Maybe I missed it, but what was the result of the hand during the strategy session?

When I was at Foxwoods on Sunday, a dealer got a $10 tip ($3K pot at $2/$5). The player gave him two reds and the dealer changed them into 10 ones before putting it in his tip box (he might have called the floor over or the floor already happened to be there – I’m not sure on that) – I thought it was strange at the time, but now I know why that was done thanks to your discussion.

  3. These podcasts have always been interesting for me, but IMO they are improving. I have really enjoyed the last two in particular, with very different but interesting guests. Look forward to future editions.

    • Thanks Neal that’s great to hear. We just recorded another interview today, which IMO was both different and interesting 🙂

  4. Hey what was the book that was mentioned in the Ike interview? The one where he mentioned his copy was falling apart.
