The Thinking Poker Diaries, Volume 4

Hot off the virtual presses, my latest e-book chronicling the 2009 WSOP Main Event is now available in the Amazon Kindle Store or from www.nitcast.com.

2009 wasn’t my best year in the Main Event – in fact it was one of my worst – but understanding the agony of defeat is even more important to appreciating the WSOP experience than is understanding the thrill of victory. As always, I take you inside of my head, to see both the strategy and the emotion, the excitement and the disappointment, the great plays and the mistakes and the we’ll-never-knows.

It’ll set you back less than three bucks, so please check it out and let me know what you think, preferably in the form of an Amazon review. Thanks and enjoy!

  1. Brokos finally gets down to the nitty gritty. Like a Boxer, he takes his lumps along with his wins and isn’t expected to whine about it. He puts you right in the bloody corner of the pugilist poker pro who gets popped with some good rights. He does stop short of giving you the drama of fiction though. Who is the Amazing Miss Emily who comes to his aid and sets him straight? Who is his pardner in crime Nate from Massachussetts? His fan would like to know.
