  1. Hey guys, long time fan here. Thank you very much for doing an awesome job. Keep up the good work.

Nate mentioned that he wouldn’t be surprised if it would be correct for the button to minraise a lot 15bb deep. I can’t remember from the top of my head how Tipton’s quasi GTO ranges look like at this stack depth, but I think that actually majority of good hyperturbo husng regs limp most of their range with this effective stack.

    • Thanks for listening and for the kind words! I didn’t know that about HUSNG styles, though I did know that at least a few very strong players choose that strategy. It’ll be interesting to see if it’s still popular in a few years.

  2. Thanks, Andrew and Nate – another great episode.

For no particular reason, I’ve found myself listening to a couple of older episodes recently, and as a result I’ve got a couple of requests, which you can feel free to ignore:

    1. John the Lawyer was an absolutely brilliant guest, and on of my all time favourites – a great talker with loads of entertaining stories, and I’d bet he has dozens more great stories that he didn’t get round to telling last time. Any chance you could get him on again some time?

    2. I’ve always really enjoyed the Palmyra songs that are used to punctuate the podcasts (and indeed, I think I was one of the first commenters to ask about (and compliment) them when they were first used). However, when I heard the old music on one of the early podcasts, I actually found it really refreshing to hear something different for the first time in a while. As much as I enjoyed the Palmyra songs for a while, I find they are starting to suffer through continuous repetition now – any chance of freshening things up with some new music?

    • Thanks for the note!

      (1) John was indeed a great guest. Not impossible that he’ll be back on some day–and knowing that people want more of him makes that more likely.

      (2) Again, this is useful feedback. For a few reasons Palmyra is likely to be on the show for a little while more at least, but down the road this (as with almost everything else about the show) is something we can mix up.

  3. Another great show! Perhaps I missed this in one of the shows, but wanted to know if there will be a Vegas meet-up this year? It would be great to meet some other podcast listeners, some guests, maybe even that guy with the beard who has taken over Ed Millers’ twitter account 🙂 Oh, and you guys too.

Good luck with the rest of scoop.

  4. I seriously laughed out loud at Nate’s dig about the recent economic boost for Canadian poker players. The fact that it was so unexpected made it funnier.

I recall LivB saying on this podcast that he does not 3-bet a lot in the HU games he plays.

    • Thanks for the reminder about the Olivier interview. (It’s about time to have him back on the show, I guess?)

As for the joke–now Andrew and I are even, I think. (70 or so episodes ago he took a similar dig at me.) Glad you got a laugh out of it.

  5. Andrew – on the HU hand what exact range are you giving him throughout this hand. Do you think he has a lot of un-paired A to T hands in his range given his call of the 4 bet? To me it seems like when he shows up with 85 that his range is more likely to have hit this board.
