I’d been raising small a lot when short stacks were in the BB, and people had been re-popping me a lot, so my JJ is definitely a monster here. I was ready to call a shove pre-flop, but his cold call froze me. With just a pot-sized bet left in my stack, I probably should have just shoved the flop and taken my licks. He contemplated bluffing the river, but I was definitely snap calling any bet. He ought to be value betting an A here, but I don’t think he is, and he sooooooo rarely has a K after checking twice, so I think his bet range would have been Q’s and bluffs. But I suck for not shoving flop.
