ur running so hot dude

I was feeling so on top of my game the other day. I was just really alert and creative, picking up on a ton of spots where I could steal pots if I applied enough pressure in the right way. This was the best one. Unless they have exactly Khxh, most people aren’t going to check call a flush draw on the flop. I bet the flop just to set up an opportunity to steal the pot later. When the flush came in, it was just a matter of pouring on the pressure:

  1. Why aren’t most people going to check-call a flush draw on that board? You think they would either check-raise or fold?

  2. I think that most likely he would bet the flop. After all, he did re-raise pre-flop, so between the chance of me folding immediately because of the strength he’s shown plus his equity if called (plus the chance that I’ll raise and enable him to 3-bet all in) it’s a great time to bet with a flush draw. If for some reason he did check, I’d definitely expect him to raise, unless as I said he had a top pair and a flush draw. The latter is the only way I could see him check-calling.
