Awesome day today, most fun I’ve had playing poker in a while. For most of the day I shared the table with three really entertaining guys. I’m not ready to post the full trip report yet, but I told one of the guys that I’d put his picture up on the blog today, and frankly I’m afraid of him, so here he is:
Norm here is still in it, but unfortunately I eliminated one of my other buddies, and the third went bust as well (though he was also one of the best players left, so I wasn’t too sorry to see him go). At my high point I was up around 1,000,000 but towards the end of the day I lost 160K with AK < ATs and 360K with QQ < AA. Nonetheless I finished with 500K, which is about average. There are 18 of us left, and we play down to the end tomorrow. I’m over my data limit for Canada, but I might splurge and send a few tweets anyway, so be sure to keep an eye on @thinkingpoker.
