  1. It’s kind of balance thing. Having raised UTG, I want to be able to check stuff like weak Aces and JJ-KK, so checking top pair and the nut flush draw is a nice way to add some hands that can check and still take heavy heat to my range. Plus, it’s not like betting is going to get me action from hands I crush except worse flush draws, which aren’t very likely. I think the hand has more value as a bluff inducer since it’s also hard for me to be way behind. Lastly, when I do get there, I usually can get value from a concealed draw….
