This guy was decent in some ways but pretty insanely loose and aggressive. I don’t think he ever folded to a 3-bet pre-flop (I probably should have made my raise size bigger), and there was a lot of 4-betting going on. For the most part, I just hung back, made some thin call downs, and pushed my big hands hard. He was tough to bluff because he wouldn’t fold anything and would re-bluff with ridiculous frequency. I was trying to bluff just enough to ensure that he knew I hadn’t given up completely.

OK, so he’s pretty bad overall against you. But he never quit. How the hell does he end up with this much money playing like this. At any stakes, and any sized table, he’s going to go broke more often than he’s going to double up and leave. Crazy!
I don’t mean to give the impression that he’s bad. He’s exploitable, but I don’t think just anyone could exploit him. With good game selection, he can probably be a winner at least at 2/4 and 3/6. I’m not a heads up regular, so the fact that he was playing me doesn’t necessarily mean that he was taking on all comers or anything.

Why do the HHs sometimes have the SB and the Button as diff players? Should be the same player HU, right? Also, on the 8h7h hand, am I missing some good reason not to re-raise the river? You think he’s only calling with QQ or 44? Given the rest of the HHs, it seems like he would def be raise/calling any 4 there, or even A-high if he felt really adventurous.

Hadn’t noticed that, but I’m sure it’s just a problem with the converter. Regarding the 87 hand, maybe the fact that he shows up with an A here should change this, but I thought that his range was either 7’s full+ or air. Even if he does have A-high, I think it’s very unlikely he pays off a 3-bet.
And maybe a little cowardly of me, but I didn’t feel like puking if he did shove on me, cuz at that point I think his range is hands that beat me and air, and I honestly don’t know his frequency for that.
