Hey Another Podcast Delay!

This time it’s my fault. Not sure when it will be up, but it’s going to be a good one. We’re talking PLO8, with an emphasis on hands from my recent near-final-table in the $1500 WSOP event. Sorry for the delay!

  1. very excited for this, you should consider making a collection of interesting hands into a vid for TPE, PLO08 seems epic

    • Thanks, Duggs. I think this is the better way to handle it. I don’t feel like enough of an expert in the game to sell my thoughts on it. It was quite helpful for me just to be able to discuss hands with Nate, and if other people can benefit from listening in on that conversation, great! As you’ll see, I think I made some sort of mistake in every hand we discussed 🙂

  2. This delay is unacceptable. Thursday night is homegame night and listening to the podcast is an essential part of my preparation!

    • I know you’re joking but it is actually helpful for us to get this kind of feedback about how many people build the podcast into their schedules, meaning they are inconvenienced by a delay, and how many just listen when there’s a new episode and don’t really pay attention to when it comes out. Also we truly are sorry about the delays and expect to be back on a regular schedule once the WSOP is over. Thanks for listening!

  3. i subscribe to several podcasts, so I always have content. i admit to being disappointed when my Thinking Poker Podcast feed has no new episodes in the Que. But since I prioritize this podcast above all others, I’d be disappointed for anything less than a daily broadcast schedule. This delay slows my poker growth, but I’m sure I’ll get something positive out of In Our Time or EconTalk.

so thanks for acknowledging your audience. as you see, we understand when normal delays occur and we appreciate that you want to deliver content to us as much as we want to consume it.

    • Agree with all of this, this is my highest priority listen so whenever it comes out is fine with me,
Skipping weeks regularly would be moderately upsetting but delayed/skipped episodes from time to time is completely acceptable and reasonable imo
